Meraki Insight License Configuration

Hello,

I have an org set up under a Meraki Subscription.  The subscription contains MX Advantage licensing and I am trying to add Insights to an MX105.  However, the licensing configuration option under the Insights tab doesn't exist.  

How to I add my MX105 to Insights along with my other MXs under the subscription.

Meraki Insight functionality is only available within the SD-WAN Plus licensing tier.

I am under the subscription license model.  The MX licensing options are Essential and Advantage.  Advantage covers the features that SD-WAN Plus would cover.

Right, you added the license in Organization > License Info and associated it with the device?

The network is bound to the subscription.  I do not have the option to look at individual licenses.

This may be a dumb question but you have tried setting up an insights feature? If the options aren’t there you may need to call support

The Advantage Tier of Subscription Licensing is supposed to be the equivalent of SD-WAN Plus. Advantage has the individual features of Insight listed here: https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Licensing/Subscription_-_MX_Licensing

I don't have any subscriptions yet to check for myself

You have to go into Insights/Licensing and enable it there.

Hmm, you got me.  I am 99% sure you have to enable it on the networks that you want to use it on.  It doesn't turn on just because you have the licence (or at least, it didn't use to).

I would open a support case.

Yeah, it's odd.  I've got it enabled on all of my other networks except for this one.  The only difference is that this one the MX was added later after the network was set up.
