MX18.2+ quality

Is it just me or are we seeing an increase in bugs in MX18.2.xx ?

I mean.. "unexpected reboots under heavy load", VPN issues, etc.

Seemingly trivial and "old problems" are resurfacing.

Honestly I'm a bit worried about quality assurance when going through release notes these days.

I can't say I really trust that the stable releases are actually stable anymore as they are being replaced quite rapidly.

I think it's rather normal. If you are used to regular Cisco release notes for IOS/ASA code, the known issues and resolved issues list can be rather longer than we see for Meraki. What really matters is the scope of the bug and how many devices it affects. Certainly when we get bit by a specific bug we feel it, but if a bug was really major and affected the large deployed base of equipment it would be getting fixed rather quickly. Those do  happen and that's when we get the emergency point releases at times.

In summary just because a bug is in the release notes, I would not expect to be hitting it, in  most cases.

Well to be honest and I have said it millions of time the MX is weakest part of Meraki. 

We have been using about 2000 MX for 8 years and the amount of bugs that we encounter is a joke.

We have never been able to upgrade to a version bug-free. Everytime we upgrade to a new version we face a lot of issues , things are breaking and falling apart. 

With MX 18.1++ and MX 19++ the Cellular on the MX has become almost useless. 

This is our biggest frustration with Meraki. MS and MR they work like a charm

I would like that they support certain major fw for longer time. At some point 17 was good for us. But then you get forced into 18.x because some models dont get patches on 17.x.

I don't feel there has been an increase in bugs.  It feels like the same amount as usual.
