MX100 failover to 2nd ISP

Hello Everyone,

I have a sill question,

We have one MX100, and thinking to get an 2nd ISP as backup, when our 1st ISP failed.

I read something from here, but which looks like only work for MX250 or above.

I am assuming failover to 2nd ISP should work with MX100 as well, when enabling WAN2, and in Traffic Shaping, Set Primary uplink to WAN1. Disabling Load balancing.

Can anyone confirm this would be the configuration? or something more needs to be configured?

Thanks a lot,

Kind of a big deal

Yup, this will work on every model of MX. You have it exactly right.

We have dual internet connections with failover, traffic shaping etc on MX64, MX84 and MX100's.
