MX Warm Spare Implementation

Hi Guys,

 

I am working on a setup attached a planned connectivity diagram, I am a query MX Warm Spare HA(Active-Passive) implementation.

 

I have a single router from ISP which will provide /29 Public IP, Now i want to connect MX Box to implement Warm spare, can i deploy warm spare HA with single router.

 

If someone pls guide here.

 

I can get 2port from ISP Router to connect MX Box.

Yes. That works.

 

Also note that the recommended setup is not a direct connection between the mx lan ports, but using the switch layer

You don't need a stack switch but the MX LAN ports should be connected to the switch not directly connected.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.
