ISP Download speed

I have 1gb internet service. Will an MX64 be able to handle it and get the full service capability of the 1GB download speed?

The smallest MX appliance to allow 1GB of throughput is the MX250. The MX250 allows 4GB of firewall throughput, 1GB of VPN throughput.

Hi @BGFFernandes,

It will not. Based on the spec sheet, the MX64 will allow 250Mbps of firewall throughput and 100Mbps of VPN throughput. Hope this answers your question.

Negatory. Google “MX sizing guide” to see more detail of throughout on different models.

 hi @BGFernandes

As @KRobert states, the MX64 won't handle 1Gbps.  You'd need an MX250 at least if you expect the full 1Gbps and enable all UTM services

@BGFernandes How many users to do you have your network, 250mbps should be enough to handle a good amount of client devices before you start seeing issues.
