How to Export Individual Client Usage That Only Lets You View

The individual client usage page lets you view the usage graph, but how do you export to excel? Because the time interval choices on that usage graph is very limited, and it only has a)for last 2 hours, b)for last day, c)for last week, d)for last month.The  individual client page is the one where you click on Firewall on dashboard >> Networkwide >> Monitor column >> Clients >> then click on any client. On that per client page is the graph, so how do you export to excel or show more time intervals?

The data is already aggregated by that point.  You can't export in that view, or show anything other than the pre-defined time periods.

If you need to do more complex anaylsis you'll need to consider using Syslog or Netflow, and use a third party tool to do the analysis that you require.

Thanks so much for your very clear response. That means I will either use Syslog or Netflow. Do you have instructions on how to setup a netlflow collector?

Those instructions are specific to the collector.

I've had the same issues you are explaining. From time to time management will ask about a users browsing history and the situation you are talking about is a good example of some of the limits the GUI offers. Like it was mentioned above you can SysLog all the data, this is what I do. But please beware if you've never done SysLog it's a lot of data, very techie but very cool and will provide you a ton of information. You can take the syslog data and put it all into excel too.
