Google update ends up with (error code 7: 0X80072EFE) in MX250 firewall

I'm facing this issue since a week; Google update ends up with (error code 7: 0X80072EFE) in MX250 firewall, while Microsoft edge update works fine., it's not the issue with pc, cos the same pc works fine (google update) in open network.

I'm using MX250 firewall.

Thanks in advance,

Rakesh Dsouza

Are you running a current stable or better firmware release?

Anything in Network-Wide/Event log for security appliance?

Anything in Security & SD-WAN/Security Centre/MX Events ?

Try turning IPS and AMP off temporarily.

Have you got any layer 7 firewall rules configured?  If so, can you remove them temporarily?

Have you got any content filter rules configured?  If so, can you remove them temporarily?

I suggest you open a support case.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

I tried first by Turning IPS & AMP off - No changes

cleared off content filters - no changes

Cleared Layer 7 firewall rules - started working.

will try to add rule one by one., Thanks a lot, Philip
