Do I need to configure PAT to use the Internet on MX?

On the ASA, I had to configure dynamic PAT to use the Internet.

Does the MX require PAT settings for the local network to use the Internet?

The MX does this automatically.  There is nothing to configure.

Nope, It's not needed.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Hi @Snika , what was the reasoning behind using PAT?

As has been said above, the MX does this out of the box (similar to a home router).
