Changing MX on network

Situation,

One of our organizations have a MX65 at main office and purchased MX68 for small one person office off site.

Question 1,

Is there an easy or recommended way I could just swap the MX in the dashboard with them being different models?

Question 2,

Could I split networks into MX, Switch, AP, etc. Make new network with new MX, coping the MX65 Network, and then combine New MX68 network with old switch and AP network? Or would the old network just do back to combining the way it was prior to be broken apart?
