Best approach Restricting vlans

We have several vlans with devices in them and want to go back to close down what's not needed. Is there a way we can see the traffic flowing in and out on a vlan with port IDs so we can decipher what's needed or not and only allow what we need. 

Apologies if it's an obvious thing in the dashboard.

May be we can use the idea of filtering the VLAN at the switch port page (there are various parameter)
