Any gotchas migrating from VPN Concentrator mode to Router?

Hey,

I've got an MX in a VPN Concentrator mode and I'd like to move it to Routed mode. Obviously, I need to change it in "Addressing & VLANs", then I have to assign proper IPs on WAN and Internal (VLANs) interfaces.

Is there any other stuff that need to be done, please? Licenses, firewall rules, whatever?

Thanks.

Hi @JozefH

Well, If you want to use contenting filtering and threat protection, you will need an advanced security license.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

I have the Advance d Security, thanks.

You lose dynamic routing(bgp/ospf) in case you was using it.
