Switches being discontinued?

I noticed all the Meraki Go switches are end of sale by August some are already end of sale. But there are no replacements. Is Meraki Go being discontinued or rolled up to regular Meraki?

Hello @Aquatoes , @Hoamboy - sincere apologies for the inconvenience on our Meraki Go switches. While we don’t yet have a timeline for replacements, we’re still working hard to resolve supply chain issues to make the Meraki Go platform complete again.

If your main goal is to simply connect your devices by adding a switch to your Meraki Go GR access points and GX router firewalls, this can be accomplished with an unmanaged switch. We’d recommend another line from our Cisco family, the Cisco Business 110 series unmanaged switches (5 to 24 ports with PoE models): https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/switches/business-110-series-unmanaged-switches/index.html

Note: you wouldn't be able to manage or access Cisco Business switches from the Meraki Go mobile app or web portal. But it gives you the ability to add a switch to your Meraki Go network for the time being.

Again, we understand the inconvenience this causes, so do rest assured we’re working to resolve this and will keep you updated. Stay tuned for more!

@MiriamGo,

It might be helpful to post an announcement informing customers of the current status of M-Go switches with a small FAQ. This could help cut down on additional posts from the customer base.

Here to help

There is still no replacement for Cisco Meraki Go 8 Port Switch (GS110-8-HW-EU)

And no information from Cisco about a new product.

@TRHH  our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by the lack of switches. Please rest assured that this is at the forefront for our teams, who are working as quickly as we can on Meraki Go switch replacements.

As a stop gap while we work on making new switches available - again, if you simply need an unmanaged switch, we'd recommend looking into the Cisco Business 110 series unmanaged switches (5 to 24 ports with PoE models): https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/switches/business-110-series-unmanaged-switches/index.html

While you won't be able to manage the CBS switches in Meraki Go, you'll still be able to connect it with your Meraki Go networks.

We'll share more news and announcements around the complete Meraki Go platform as soon as we're able. We very much appreciate your patience!
