Meraki Go PoE Switches - Automatic Fix

Hi everyone,

We greatly appreciate your patience if you had Meraki Go GS110 PoE (Power over Ethernet) switches that were impacted by PoE power issues last week, due to GS firmware version 15.21.

We previously announced a fix that required you to contact our support team, so your switches could be restarted in the previous firmware version.

Beginning tomorrow 3/22 at 1AM local time, a new fix will be automatically applied that should resolve the PoE issues for everyone. Those who are still on firmware version GS 15.21 will be upgraded to GS 15.21.1 which resolves the PoE issue.

We also have a remediation plan in place to ensure this doesn’t happen again in the future.

We sincerely apologize again, as we recognize this has been an inconvenient and frustrating time for those of you impacted.

Thank you all for your continued support and for being a Meraki Go customer. If you’re still experiencing any urgent issues, please shoot us a note at merakigo@cisco.com so we can take care of you.

As a follow-up, while working with customers who experienced PoE issues, we noticed that the vast majority had switches that were unmanaged.

To help you better manage and maintain your account, we highly recommend you add your hardware to the Meraki Go app. Here are 3 quick steps to take: Meraki Go quickstart
