Documentation Site Overhaul

Greetings Community!

Today we launched a new version of our documentation site:

This new version of documentation brings several new key features:

New visual designs and layout

Search filters

  • Search within sections of the site. e.g. Search under MX for only MX content, under MS for only Meraki MS content, etc.

Mobile responsive design

  • Better formatting on phones and tablets

User feedback

  • Bottom of articles > Was this article helpful? (Y/N)

We look forward to delivering more features and design improvements on this site to better address your needs.

I'll also personally keep an eye on this thread for feedback. Thanks everyone!

Kind of a big deal

Looking good. Well done.

Looking good!

I understand that the search results are colored such that they can be distinguished, but using the same color as the background for every other search result, seems confusing to me.

It makes me think that the search result is a sample text for the result above.

Same feeling here, I thought that presents some different attributes of the results.

Wow, what an improvement!

Site formatting is also a bit weird, so You might want to run by all the pages.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. I'll look into the search result coloring issue, that's a fair point and I'll see how we can make that more clear.

And certainly, page formatting wasn't a perfect 1:1 crossover between old and new (nor was it perfect before), so thanks for surfacing that example. I resolved the issue on that page, and we're keeping an eye out for similar issues where we can clean up.
