Meraki System Manager add User error "THE ACCOUNT NO LONGER EXIST"

Hi ,

I'm trying to connect my Windows pc  to SM but I'm getting an error message.

THE ACCOUNT NO LONGER EXIST
I need to create a special user or the organization is enough.

If the account does exist on the same organization that you are trying to access, then I think this is likely a bug and should be reported via a case to the Cisco Meraki team.

What authentication method is your Systems Manager configured to use?  Meraki Accounts, Active Directory, Entra ID, ?

Wherever it is pointing - thate place does not believe that the account exists.

@shlomi The first screenshot that you show is Administrators

For User Authentication, you need to provision *owners* in Systems Manager > Owners

Create a couple of owners, ensure that Systems Manager > general > End user authentication is set to Meraki Managed Accounts, test, and let us know if successful

Hi, thanks, it works and now my computer is connected to SM.
I have another question. How do I change the type of an existing network to the type of EMM? Currently the network is on mode combined and I want to change to EMM mode.

Hi Shlomoi,

A combined Network is a mix of All of your Meraki equipment networks, MX, MS, MR, MV, MT and SM. Based on the image you provided I am assuming you are creating the SM network for the first time and in that case you will want to select the Network Drop down next to Combine hardware to EMM.

Please let me know if that helps or if you are in fact attempting to split your SM network away from an existing network as that requires a number of different steps.
