Help with unenrolling iPads
I have some iPads that have been unenrolled from Meraki, and released from School Manager, but the Meraki profile is still on only some of the iPads. I've tried to re-enroll them into Meraki and then re-release them, but I get an error every time. I have also tried to remove it with Configurator, but our policy prohibits pairing so it never works.

If you DFU reset the device and don't restore from any icloud backup, it should no longer have any enrollment profile (since ASM doesn't have the device linked to your MDM any more). See https://support.apple.com/guide/security/boot-process-for-iphone-and-ipad-devices-secb3000f149/web for more information.

Put the devices into recovery mode and restore them via configurator.

Hi @Mackadelic,
Hope this issue is resolved for you. Were the affected devices enrolled through ADE ? Just wanted to point out that if a device is enrolled through ADE then ADE settings pushed to the device is required to be removed from "Systems Manager > Manage > ADE" page before factory resetting the device to fully unenroll the device from Meraki SM. Following kb has step by step guidelines on unenrolling an ADE enrolled device.
Uninstalling Systems Manager and Removing Managed Devices
