Meraki AP serial numbers

Is there a way to find the serial number of a Meraki access point by the MAC address?  I have several that were mounted about 30 ft up in the warehouse but the serial numbers were not recorded. I see the MAC address on the switch but need to get the SN to add to the dashboard.

Hello @alaminr01

Unfortunately, it is not possible to get the Serial number from the MAC address. Instead, just claim the Meraki Order# in the Organization -> Inventory page when none of the devices/licenses from the order are claimed individually. This would claim all the devices in the Inventory page. You should be able to see the MAC Address and Serial number columns for the devices.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Once you have claimed the Meraki order as @Seshu  says, you can use the "Flash Lights" function under tools to identify any individual access points.

Can you not see the serial number listed in the dashboard?

Also check if all your APs were part of the same Meraki order and that this order does not contain equipment that you don't want to add to the dashboard.

Claiming the order itself on the dashboard will add all the APs automatically.
