Licensing for End of Support MR Appliances

I have a client with multiple MR18 AP appliances that went EOST in March of this year. Their dashboard license is about to expire. They know they need to upgrade to the MR36 AP appliance.

Both of these appliances use the same Dashboard license (LIC-ENT-1YR/3YR/5YR). Due to time constraints, if the licenses were purchased and applied to the dashboard for the current MR18's, will they roll over to the MR36's when the appliances are actually replaced?

Yes, you can use any mr on that license .

Yes, you can use the same license both on the MR18s and the MR36s. If you are using the Co-termination licensing model you won't have to move licenses from old devices to new devices, you will simply have to remove the unused MRs from the networks they are assigned to.

If you are using the Per-device licensing model, you will have to unassign the license from the old device and reassign to the new device.
