We've converted all of our lighting to LEDs a few years ago. This year one of our initiatives is to configure all of our networked office MFC printers to print on both sides of the paper by default. This should save a fair amount of paper.

Hello all, We have a need to download switch event logs for a few specific switches. When I put the switch name in the filter field I see only the logs for that switch, but when I download the events to CSV I get logs for a ton of unrelated switches. I tried this several times and I get the same problem each time. Am I missing something or is the download-to-csv feature broken?

Thanks Brian. I checked the release notes for v18.05 again and it said: Performance improvements for MX250 and MX450 appliances. I wish this was more specific. BTW we've just rolled back to v16 and the problem disappeared.

We are experiencing this also after upgrading to v17.10.2. As a result we're rolling back to v16.x for now. I saw that there is a v18 Release Candidate available that offers "performance improvements" for our MX appliances, but in the bug notes it also states the potential for instability. That's a hard no for us.

Thank you for this kNeil. Yes the additional visibility for DFS events is very helpful. After searching the logs though, it does appear that this is a recent spurt of activity, which goes back to my original question regarding the criteria for declaring a DFS event. Is the radio looking for a particular chirp pattern in radar? Some radars use chirp, some don't, some are pulsed while others are continuous wave, and none of them have Automatic Transmitter ID data embedded in the signal (this would be bad for tactical reasons). So how does the radio determine that it's radar and not some stray noise from a misbehaving 5ghz wi-fi client device?

We've suddenly seen a cluster of DFS detections that seem to be limited to a specific area of our campus. We are pretty close to an airport and Coast Guard station but there is no fixed radar licensed on this band anywhere in our state. It's possible that we're seeing glints of radar from military aircraft, however it seems that this would show up in a larger area of our footprint and it's not. I'm wondering about the specifics of the DFS detection mechanism in our A/Ps. Does the scanning radio look for any energy in this band that doesn't have OFDM or QAM modulation on it and assume that it's radar? I'm wondering if we're seeing a babbling wi-fi device.

Today we experienced an issue where two of our business partner sites were suddenly blocked by Meraki content filtering - one of them by the Phishing Category and the other by Computer and Internet Info. This was a surprise to us. Are there some major updates happening under the hood on these categories, or were we just unlucky enough to partner with a couple of services that have been recently hit by bad actors?

Confirmed here also after removing HK from our list of whitelisted countries. While this was going on I was unable to reach Wireshark.org as well as the googly tubes, so it definitely affected more than just Google..

Configs seem to be working for me again. The symptoms I saw were port config changes (i.e. VLAN changes) showing the correct new settings but port status showing the old ones, and the ports actually behaving somewhere in between. This caused blocked traffic on port changes that were in progress when this issue hit. I started to notice some weirdness yesterday afternoon.

I need this feature also. While we don't have as many optics as Deviant, it seems that this should be available in a report. We are in a situation where some SFPs need to be recalled and it's going to slow down the project if we have to drill into every SFP port manually in the dashboard. Pretty please?
