Hi,
I have a customer that requested a license renewal, they requested Enterprise but they originally bought Advanced. Now their getting the attached message, can the order be changed to Enterprise?
Solved! Go to solution.
If return does not work for them, nor the upgrade to Advanced, then yes, you can move the networks to a different organization by requesting Organization split, which will preserve all your network configurations (https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Organizations_and_Networks/Organization_Spli...).
But there are limitations which you must consult, first of all - if Auto VPN is used within organization for s2s vpn, or SSID concentrator.. and few others.. all explained in the link above.
@Eddie01 Have they tried following the instructions in the message?
If the license hasn't been claimed they might be able to get it refunded and then re-order but you will need to speak to your account manager about that.
Blake,
Thanks for the quick reply. I was able to access the customers dashboard and found what it was, tis issue is that they have various sites under one organization, and two sites have MX's with advanced licenses, can they move the devices that are Enterprise to a new organization without losing any of the configuration? just want to make sure, it's a large site.
Thanks
@Eddie01 I am assuming you mean move between networks not an Organisation. If so the config will not follow the hardware. The config stays with the network.

@Eddie01 : Is that order taken through the Partner and Cisco SE ? If yes, they can revert that order for sure !
Request a refund and place an order for the correct licence.
If you are dissatisfied with your Cisco Meraki purchase for any reason, you may return your order for a full refund. All returns must meet the following criteria:
Thank you all for your replies, spoke with the customer and he will be splitting the network.
