Access Manager

Does anyone already have Access Manager available under Organization > Early Access ?

https://documentation.meraki.com/Access_Manager/Access_Manager_Overview/Architecture_and_Example_Use...

It is documented that it will be rolled out in phases and I am wondering if this phases already started...

Seams to me an interesting approach as there is no external radius needed anymore.

Everyone - Please feel free to submit a request to Meraki support -  we will be able to roll it out for some organizations sooner. But for others, it requires some additional work and will be rolling it out in phases (already started for some) and in the next few months, all the organizations should have Access Manager on their Early Access page for opt-in.

Side note: This applies to all orgs irrespective of the geographical location.

Just checked half a dozen different Orgs and none have it available yet under Early Access.

You can contact Meraki to get it enabled immediately, for testing purposes

You need to contact Meraki support so they can move you over to a shard that has this enabled. I recommend that you only do this for test orgs.

Well thanks for all the feedback.

I will then contact support to have it enabled.

I recall somewhere it being said this would be rolled out (eventually).

I didn't reach out to inquire about turning this ON sooner than the scheduled rollout but it's now in my Early Access.

Might be for others too.

Thanks @RWelch it is available on our shard now too, have just opted us in! We did try to ask support about early enablement / being on a shard that has it but that didn't go anywhere.

Jealous.  I'm still waiting.

I think. that access manager is only for meraki devices. If I have the cisco AP then no way to integrate it with access manager, right?

@peto The hardware compatibility includes the above devices.

Anyone made it work? I can't connect to wireless, in logs I see that Access Manager still see MFA as required even though I excluded it from Conditional access for whole app in Entra ID. There are no docs available about it, I would have to turn off MFA because that's a step down in security.

If your authentication methods have been migrated to "Modern" (which you cannot stop), you cannot use username/password authentication.  You can only use certificate authentication.

This is because the modern authentication method FORCES the use of MFA.  It is not possible to create a conditional access policy to prevent it.
