I hate these scroll bars, it grinds my gears every day I look at the dashboard. How was this ever considered progress. I've got from seeing everything I need in one glance to having to scroll all the way to the bottom of my list and then having to scroll all the way across, and then having to scroll back up through the list to see the AP I'm interested Someone in the Dev team responsible for this look - Tell me how you think this new look with the scroll bars is better than the previous view for someone like me managing and viewing every day

Yep I know BHC (July) - We are in the process of replacing our MR32/33's. The worry is that we have seen the same issue with MR44's and with no documented resolution in the latest beta firmware 31.1.1

I'd check that the AP is still broadcasting your SSiD's and servicing clients. I've seen this recently on some AP's, see my post below https://community.meraki.com/t5/Wireless/Random-AP-s-stop-broadcasting-SSiD-s/m-p/232207#M31981

I have like 57 devices in one network all showing warning "Access point has an ethernet negotiation failure" directly on the Access point page. All are connected with only 100Mbit. Devices with Gbit connections seems ok.

Per http://status.meraki.net, the issue has been resolved and the team is monitoring it.
Marking this reply as the solution for visibility!

When attempting to move access points (e.g., MR20) from one network to another while NBAR is active, and where access points are not supported, the new dashboard displays "There was a problem moving the access points." whereas the old dashboard used to indicate "Cannot add MR20 devices to a network running NBAR. For instructions on how to disable NBAR, please visit here."

I would create a NPS connection policy just for the HQ access points and add a MTU entry (try different MTU packet sizes) within the connection policy just for the HQ. whatsapp mod watch tv series

In which case I refer my honourable friend to my earlier reply... A common set of MR36 APs should be a good starting point. You may want to survey to ensure you're covering the areas you require.

I was wondering when trying to resolve issues previously I was having at some of my SDWAN sites and suspected packet fragmentation where, if any, MTU value was specified on the MR's. I tried reducing MTU sizes in NPS Radius connection policies, but had no joy. Ended up having to use the Meraki Proxy Radius to broker requests for those troublesome sites where there was fragmentation

+1 for MTU, we had issues with this exact problem and Access-Rejects due to timeouts. Setting the relevant NPS policy (Windows server) with a Framed-MTU of 1344 fixed it for us

Also, the fact that there isn't backwards compatibility is what means that you'll actually be able to use 802.11ax features in 6 GHz. It's a good thing. Not a bad thing.

Not quite... it all dependent upon the client radio chains and actual PHY rate used the rates are as shown below. Granted I am giving the upper PHY rate and best case connection scenarios your milage may very well vary... a 2x2:2 ax client radio @ 2.4 or 5 GHz wide 20MHz wide channel tops out at MCS rate 11 @286.8Mbps so max throughput would be around 14OishMbps If ac 2x2:2 it tops out at MCS8 at 173.3mbps which about 80Mbps a 2x2:2 ax client radio @ 2.4 or 5 GHz wide 20MHz wide channel tops out at MCS rate 11 @286.8Mbps so max throughput would be around 14OishMbps If n 2x2:2 it tops out at MCS7 at 144Mbps which about 72Mbps

If you're running MR firmware 29, consider seeing how the network performs with client balancing disabled in the relevant RF profile(s); the way that clients implement 802.11v in particular varies quite widely and can cause issues. I'd also check you're on the latest version of 29 too - currently 29.6.1 (RC)

Pretty sure this is due to the recent bifurcation of the switch firmware into the MS & CS lines. It now shows up on orgs with 0 switches. Probably some validation process no longer catches it as the underlying code trains have changed. I'd open a Support case so they can log it as a UI bug.

Double-checking some aspects around this - appears I misunderstood some internal comms; DFS not required indoor in the UK is known and engineered. Some model certification (including MR44) is still required. @Paccers DM me...?

As @GreenMan has already mentioned, create a new network (clone if from the existing network) and move these 2 stores AP's into it. You then modify the employee SSID L7 Firewall settings in this new network to block Facebook. Job done

Hi All Just to let you know the matter is now solved . Our on Prem Firewall had a Zone protection profile with a setting instructing the firewall to drop fragmented traffic . Once that setting was updated it worked . Thanks all for your contributions

Absolutely agree. Why they can't use the Cisco bug system and do the job properly I don't know. Getting increasingly frustrated with Meraki.
