Hi all, There are about 34 switches deployed and only 3 or 4 switches are experiencing a "bad IP assignment" issue. The gateway for these switches is a Palo Alto firewall and I can see the arp for the switches in the arp table for the firewall. FW1(active)> show arp ae1.721 | match cx:z2:d3:xx:xx:xx ae1.721 10.70.0.28 cx:z2:d3:xx:xx:xx ae1 c 1923 Also, if the firewall is the gateway for all switches. I'm wondering why only 3 or 4 switches are experiencing the issue. All switches are using a static IP address for management. Cheers

The site started experiencing issues when we migrated to the MX device. Since the MX was deployed in some sites, it started happening. I also noticed a lot of events dropped Jul 21 17:43:19 Events dropped Events dropped 841 events were not logged. Jul 21 17:40:09 Events dropped Events dropped 826 events were not logged. Jul 21 17:36:59 Events dropped Events dropped 854 events were not logged. Jul 21 17:33:49 Events dropped Events dropped 773 events were not logged. Jul 21 17:30:49 Events dropped Events dropped 827 events were not logged. Jul 21 17:27:39 Events dropped Events dropped 854 events were not logged. Jul 21 17:24:29 Events dropped Events dropped 775 events were not logged. Jul 21 17:21:29 Events dropped Events dropped 827 events were not logged. Thanks for your response, Brash. Yes, it is happening every morning. Also, the same template is applied for more than 100 sites and just a couple of sites are experiencing the same issue. I'm a bit resistant to changing the timers, causing issues for those sites that are working fine.

Hi all, I''m having a BGP issue for a couple of sites. Every morning we have to reboot the MX devices and checking the logs I can see the BPG hold timer expired. Unsure how to check the cause of this issue or more information about it. Any suggestions?
