Hello, is there a way to place an entire Meraki network in maintenance mode so that it can go offline while under development? I am adding a number of new networks and devices (claiming). While configuring the networks, they would enter a maintenance mode (offline) similar to VMware. Any insight is appreciated. Thank you.

Can anyone recommend Visio stencils that were made in 2023 for Meraki's products? It's ridiculous Meraki does not keep their stencils updated. I believe these are circa 2019 --> https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/assets/prod/visio/visio/security-cisco-meraki.zip.

Hello, I have set up a new Meraki network for a company we recently acquired. I have set up the entire network in my lab, and it is ready for deployment. The Meraki hardware will be shipped to the site in the near future. Is there a way to turn off the alerts specifically for the network so as not to be inundated with email alerts? The only thing I have found is to simply remove the recipient email address that the alerts are sent to. Thanks in advance. Steve

Is there a way to create a site-to-site VPN from a Meraki MX100/250 to AWS without purchasing a vMX? I've seen a few articles about configuring the MX SD-WAN site-to-site with third party routers such as SonicWall and Azure. Thanks in advance.

Hello all, I currently have Client VPN and AnyConnect VPN working great with two stacked MX250s with a WAN1 and WAN2 circuit. I discovered that when activating load balancing with WAN1 and WAN2, the VPN connection on the client computer has proven to be unreliable with random results. The traffic will randomly go through either WAN1 or WAN2. Thus, this changes the IP address on the client. In addition, I discovered the DDNS assigned name xxxxx.dynamic-m.com keeps changing the IP addresses between the two WAN ports. I have researched a bit on the Meraki MX device and discovered there is a "SD-WAN policies" section that includes a "VPN traffic" option. I suspect that if I "add a preference" and choose "load balance" for a certain "performance class," this may resolve the problem. Is this correct? If not, can you please provide some insight on this? Please let me know if I need to clarify this further. I really appreciate any input. Thanks in advance.

I have been looking through the Cisco websites trying to obtain a SKU to order the Cisco AnyConnect 100 user perpetual license or possibly the 3 year subscription. I have been given the run-around by Meraki tech support and Cisco engineers. They have said AnyConnect is no longer valid and is now named Cisco Secure Client. But then they have told me that Cisco AnyConnect will only work with the Meraki MX. I appreciate any insight. Thank you.

Hello PhilipDAth, I do have another question regarding DUO and SAML. Can this configuration also work with the DUO app on a phone and allow the user to answer yes or no to approve the sign-on?

PhilipDAth, thank you for all the information. Yes, I am currently working with the Windows native VPN client. Thanks for the additional information on AnyConnect. This appears to be a good option too. The next step will be the deployment of the client application. We are not using Azure.

I have seen a couple of messages lightly touch on the topic of Active Directory security groups, but they did not convey the exact information I am seeking. Is it possible to use an Active Directory security user group as an additional layer of security in combination with the Meraki client VPN and DUO MFA's radius server? I have used Cisco AnyConnect and FortiGate in the past, and granting access to the VPN was done by adding a user account into an Active Directory security group. It was basically a third layer of security. Thank you in advance.
