Greetings In our company we use Meraki MX100 firewall. In the content filtering section, we have several web pages which we want to be blocked for users, however, there is a vulnerability to this by using Google translator. Just enter the URL in the translator and automatically, on the right side of the translator, the URL appears in blue with a redirection symbol, which by clicking on it, you are directed to the web page that is blocked without any impediment, bypassing the content filtering. This looks like this: https://www-webpage-com.translate.goog/path/ How can we block this bypass in our MX100? Thanks

Is there any way to see what type of device is connected to a Meraki MX port? I am looking for a way, however, Meraki MX only shows me the active ports but does not allow me to see what devices are connected to that port. Or this management can only be observed in a direct and physical way? Thanks

I changed the IP of both computers to a fixed Ip but for a strange reason meraki continues to alert conflict for the IP 10.2.2.1.

Yes, It looks like 00:0b:82:ac:74:55 is also trying to be 10.2.2.1. But, the ip of the MX is 10.2.1.254. However, this ip is located at another site, which is obviously in another ip range. The subnet of this site is 10.2.0.0/16. But meraki reports that these two devices, or this ips conflict, is on the main site, which is 10.1.x.x. How is this possible?

This is the event log of one of the two devices.Curiously, the ip shown, 10.2.2.1, is an ip that is located in another site with subnet 10.2.x.x, however, this ip (10.2.2.1) in this site, is not claimed by any equipment. The last time both computers were registered was on October 28th at the main site which has subnet 10.1.2.x.

Greetings, we are receiving between 4 to 5 emails per day reporting an IP conflict between two devices. The point is that after checking the MACs of these two devices, both are not on the network since October 28, and being disconnected, they are still registered with the same IP, but meraki continues to report this conflict even though the two devices are disconnected. How do we disable this particular alert? Since it is not a problem on the production network, but rather a confusion of meraki. Thanks!

But, we need to block all social networks except whatsapp, but, whatsapp is included in "All social webs and photo sharing". So, we would be blocking whatsapp too, and the idea is to allow it.

Best regards! There was an inconvenience in 2 branches of my company. 2 of the devices in their previous versions, did not include WhatsApp as a social network in "All social webs and photo sharing". The 2 meraki devices had an update, going from MX 14.53 → MX 16.14. Now, WhatsApp is included as a social network in "All social webs and photo sharing" but it turns out that many of the employees use WhatsApp to contact customers. The question is, is there any way to exclude whatsapp from "All social webs and photo sharing"? This is in order to block all other social networks except whatsapp. Thanks
