@Robthesoundguy. Thank you for explaining how to do this using the firewall functionality in the AP. This sounds like the best option without significant changes to the existing network configuration.

Hello Meraki Community! I'm researching the possibility of using Meraki DHCP (NAT Mode) to provide client addressing for a new "Guest Wireless" SSID, and wondering if I could make it work (securely) in an environment where the guest traffic needs to be completely isolated from management traffic and traffic on other SSID's. Based on what I've read, VLAN tagging is not allowed in NAT Mode, so my assumption is if I use NAT Mode for guest wireless, that traffic will end up on the native VLAN (which is currently my management VLAN). Using the native VLAN for guest traffic does not sound secure to me, so I'm wondering if it's even possible to completely isolate traffic on an SSID that uses NAT Mode.

FWIW...I ended up running packet captures on the interfaces connecting switches to one another and was able to see the bridge priority in the BPDU's. Time consuming, but worth it in my opinion, especially since I'm replacing and moving switches around in my environment.

@PhilipDAth - Thank you, I would have spent several hours looking.

Thanks for your response TEAM-ind. While it's helpful to know which switch is root and what its priority is, I'm really looking to find the current priority set on all my non-root switches. A report or list would be convenient, but for now I don't mind checking each switch individually for its bridge priority, I just don't know how to do that with Meraki switches.

Hi All, I must be missing something really simple...Is there a way to view the current spanning-tree priority per MS switch? I know I can set spanning-tree priority per switch by navigating to "Switch > Switch settings > STP configuration > Set the bridge priority for another switch or stack" in the dashboard, but I don't want to set anything, I just want to view and document current STP priority on each of the MS switches in our environment. Any advice is much appreciated.

Hi All, Should I be able to ping one L3 interface from different L3 interface (different vlans/subnets) on a Meraki MS350 switch using the Ping tool in the Meraki Dashboard? I guess this would be similar to pinging one SVI from another SVI on a traditional Cisco switch via CLI. Thanks.

WW, This is really good information. I am surprised I wasn't able to find it in the Meraki documentation. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your reply WW. Would it be correct to assume that custom DHCP option 3 (router) is the way to specify the gateway ip handed out by a DHCP server running on an MS switch?

Hi All, I'm relatively new to Meraki products and struggling to find where I specify the Gateway IP when configuring DHCP services for a new VLAN/Subnet I configured on an MS350 switch. Meraki documentation states: "If set to 'Run a DHCP server', the following options will become available: Gateway IP - (Only for Static routes) Indicates what default gateway IP address should be given to clients in this subnet. This address must be in the same subnet as the clients." Maybe I'm missing it, but I am not seeing a "Gateway IP" option become available. I'm also a little confused about what the "(Only for Static routes)" means or how it applies to DHCP options. Any information the community can provide is much appreciated. Thank you.
