Hi all, If I understand well, If I configure i.e. a Meraki MS Switch for the first time connecting it to the Cloud but I power off the Switch before of 30mins, all the configurations done are lost on the device. So when the devices is powered on again, it will start with the default configuration (it means all port in Trunk Native VLAN 1) ? The question is because I've staged a stack of switches but when I stared installing it to my customer that switches was without any configuration. This colud be a problem if the switches are installed as Edge Devices with Internet devices (Internet Router/Firewall) connecting to an Access Port with a specific VLAN (not vlan 1) Thanks Francesco

Hi MerakiDave, thanks for your answer. It's made the settings much clearer. I've a last questions about it: if you leave setting to Always use 100% power (as is the default) and on AP setting Power is Auto, APs keep the power limited also to do not overlap with other AP of same network ? Thanks

Hi Guys, I want ask you more informations about Power Setting on Meraki Wirelss APs. Specifically, on Wireless > Configure > Radio settings > Radio power, you have 2 Options 1. Always use 100% power 2. Enable Power Reduction Selecting an AP you have another menu where you can choose the power setting of single AP with a fixed value or Auto. What I understand is that if you select option 1 and leave the AP power in Auto, AP will try to use the maximum Power transmission only limited to factors specified here: https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Radio_Settings/Max_Radio_Power_Limitations If you select option 2 leaving AP in Power Setting Auto, Ap will try to utilize Auto TX process to find out the best power setting. Has anyone more informations about these setting and recommended selection? Thanks

Hi Adam, what do you mean by "auto scheduled firmware update" ? Do you mean a firmware update proposed by Meraki Team followed by an alert email ? Thanks

Hi MR_IT_Guy and thanks for your reply. The reason for my question is very similar to what you wrote, because I manage an Organization with more than two hundred switch and more APs and is not easy schedule a maintenence windows with final customer. So, in many case I'must reschedule the upgrade (more than one time) or in others cases cancel the upgrade. So I'would want be sure than there are not any downtime in the networks. For sure, I always try to keep updated all the devices of organization to the last stable release. Thanks

Hi all, I read more articles about Meraki FW upgrade process but I've not so clear the option "cancel" about it. I undestand that Firmware upgrade ca be rescheduled up to one mounth and you can reschedule it for more than one time. But if you choose the Cancel option, will this option stop the new firmware upgrade process? I think there is a limit FW version after that is mandatory to schedule an upgrade. Is this correct ?
