Hi Meraki team, Are you planning on supporting the additional properties now available when creating webclips? https://developer.apple.com/documentation/devicemanagement/webclip I am mainly talking about: IgnoreManifestScope TargetApplicationBundleIdentifier I have a couple of use cases where both of these are required (Manifest scope for deploying a PWA, TargetApplication for a custom icon for our users). It is quite annoying to have to create the profile elsewhere then upload to Meraki.

Not that I know of through Meraki. The setting will stick if you create a backup through AC2/iTunes and you apply it via a blueprint. Probably not an option for most though.

Probably more of an Apple Request rather than Meraki but I would love the option to add shortcuts to the homescreen layout. i.e. I create a shared shortcut for a specific task (i.e. Open the Systems Manager application ), place on the homescreen with a different icon and put on multiple iPads via an iPad backup. Meraki then allows me to position this shortcut on the homescreen as it does with apps, webclips, etc. I used to use webclips pointing to urlschemes to do a similar job, but they dont work on iPadOS13 - seems to be a bug when you use more than one according to discussion here: javascript - Detecting when iOS Webclip is launched whilst working around an iOS 13 bug - Stack Overflow

What app do you use? If you can disable the callkit part of the app, to use its own answering system, it should work. I've used Cisco Jabber and couldn't get it to answer in Kiosk mode, however using Cisco Webex Teams you can disable callkit (disable fullscreen answering within the app settings) and it works.

Have seen it here too. Seems to work OK if I add the app (or import from VPP) and save the page before making any changes to tags, scope, etc. If I set a tag before saving I get this error.

Sometimes I need to force sync VPP for my purchases to show (especially if purchased recently. Systems Manager > VPP > Sync (top right)

Thankt RohitRaj, Support rep has been able to verify the dashboard is saving the profile incorrectly so I think we're nearing a fix (03929817): Hi Tom, Never mind I found the issue by just using a fake server and checking the value. The dashboard saves it as true-false value which is incorrect. I'll let you know when it's fixed. Regards,

Thanks Alex. I've created in AC2 and uploaded to Meraki - deploys fine and calendar works. Doesnt seem to work within Meraki even if I have SSL enabled or disabled. Just getting: Error: The field “CalDAVUseSSL” is invalid. I've logged with support but not getting anywhere quickly: Those error code are from Apple end and not really Meraki MDM error codes. From Apple support the error code Code: 1000 Domain: MCProfileErrorDomain, the deploy seems to be missing .mobileconfig wireless profile https://documentation.meraki.com/SM/Device_Enrollment/Enrolling_and_Supervising_iOS_Devices_using_Apple_Configurator_2.5_or_Later#Manual_Enrollment_-_Add_device(s)_to_Device_Enrollment_Program_(DEP)

Trying to add an iOS Calendar via Meraki but cannot get it to deploy. Receiving the following error in device logs: Jun 05 16:19 Update profile 'XXXX.XXX' Error: The field “CalDAVUseSSL” is invalid. Code: 1000 Domain: MCProfileErrorDomain Error: The profile “XXXX.XXX” is invalid. Error: The payload “XXXX.XXX” is invalid. Error: The field “CalDAVUseSSL” is invalid. Adding the calendar on the iPad manually works. Doesn't work with either use SSL to true or false. I am just trying to add a Gmail calendar at this point. Any suggestions? Cheers,

Hmm... interesting. Unfortunately we don't utilize any AD features in our setup, just reset the iPads every few months and re-enrol via using the downloaded Meraki profile in AC2.

I'm using the profile to enroll, not the link you enter during the supervision process so there is no 'link' to enter...

Hi, For the last week or so I am getting error when trying to install the management profile through AC2. This has worked for the last 2 years without an issue for me. Receiving error: Profile Installation Failed: A Connection to the server could not be established. (MCInstallationErrorDomain - 0xFA1 (4001). I have also received an error about the enrollment certificate being invalid. These are older iPads (iPad 4th Generation) still on iOS 10.3.3 - working on replacing them and having the new ones on DEP but these are all I have for the meantime. Please help.

Hi, I'm in the process of trying to streamline some processes for when we wipe/recongifure devices in my organization. Essentially we loan iOS devices frequently- to employees/guests/clients/etc. When the devices are brought back they are wiped and a 'baseimage' is applied through Apple Configurator 2. It doesn't do much but it makes the text bigger, disables some other settings, etc. Then the setup screen is completed manually to enable location settings and get the DEP settings which let Meraki do the rest, push apps, restrictions, profiles etc. etc. Once the apps are pushed we signin to a couple of them using specific credentials (we loan to all sorts of people - many are not familiar with iOS so it is sent out 'ready-to-go'. Unfortunately, AFAIK, manage App Credential this phase and my organization does not have an identity provider I can use to configure SSO. However, all the apps (SM included) require some permissions (SM needs location so we can GPS track), our other app needs access to the Microphone/Cameras - is there any way to 'grant' these permissions programmatically or through Meraki? These are all supervised devices. The baseimage/device backup does not seem to 'backup' these permissions. Cheers,

I have tried removing and deleting the profile - no change in behavior. Cheers.

I am loving the ability to now order webclips on iOS11.3 homescreens. However I seem to only be able to have a single webclip on the dock and one on a page before it gets buggy. I have tried to add 4 webclips to my layout but it's just not working. Only one will stay in the dock, 2 are hidden and 1 is on page 1. They seem to disappear and reappear and random. I cannot put them all on the dock where I want them. Anyone else experiencing this? I cannot get it to work properly on Chrome, Firefox, IE or Safari so I don't think it's a browser issue. Maybe its Friday-itis kicking in. Cheers,
