At the end of 'Usage' on this page: https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/#!python/meraki-dashboard-api-python-library It is noted: For a full working script that demos this library, please see and run the org_wide_clients_v1.py file included (in examples folder). What is this referring to? Where is org_wide_clients_v1.py and examples folder?

Thanks. Looks like the dashboard is broken for what I'm trying to do. The MT API is a good suggestion but the docs aren't so clear with selecting timespans. I'm able to do this below and get data. I fund this from some other post. But how might I use the parameters. Three questions: 1) I choose date range as shown here oct 1-oct30 2021 and download as csv. Dates in csv file are 1/22 - 2/20/2022. This is regardless of which dates I choose. I'm expecting to get csv of dates chosen. What am I doing wrong? 2) Cannot choose more than 30 days at a time. Selector is broken. How to get timespan of several months? 3) Even if this worked, it's a cumbersome means of getting sensor data. What is more efficient means so we can pull into our own db.

Thanks for the responses. I had no idea firmware could rollback when moved to a new network. I updated the firmware in the new network and it's now working fine!

Hello. I had my MT20 sensor working previously with the same MR42. The only difference is they are now both in a new network. When I press the button on the MT20 I see the LED cycle through the rainbow colors and it stops on amber for a few seconds then shuts off. It never connects to the MR42. I also see the sensor will occassionaly activate on it's own, presumably looking for a gateway. I'd like to know how frequently it does this as I won't physically be at this location much longer. Can you tell me how I can troubleshoot this further? I've been looking on the MR42 (Dashboard -> Wireless) settings and cannot find anything indicating a connection to the sensor.

Thanks @cmr and @Ryan_Miles I was not aware of the 28.x firmware requirement. My MR and other devices were just received and installed. The MR shows MR 27.7.1, Released Jun 23, 2021. I will see about forcing an update.

I have the following meraki equipment: mt10, mt20, mr42, and MV12WE. When all productsinstalled the mt10 and mt20 automatically use MV12WE as gateway. But now I want to use MR42 as gateway. Documentation for mt10 says 'Make sure the gateway is in the same network and is online and operational. Click here for MV setup instructions and MR setup instructions.' but the MR link shows all MR documentation none of which mention anything about using MR as gateway for MT products. It appears to be a supported configuration but how to do it is a mystery. Can someone help.
