The second one suits me. However that's mean that I have to manage by myself and from my perspective it is more a Meraki rule and so on the Meraki side.

That's a good idea but from my perspective it is a rule that should be implemented into Meraki and the result be exposed to the client (thanks to an attribute such as "elligibleToTopologyRequest")

Hello, I am using the end-point : GET /networks/{networkId}/topology/linkLayer The doc describing it is there : https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/#!get-network-topology-link-layer It responds correctly in some cases. But in some cases I have the following response : "errors": [ "Invalid network for topology" ] Because I would like to not request anymore on these networks I would like to have an attribute bringing the information that it is not a valid network for topology. Do you know if there is any end-point API which could give me such info (Network valid for topology or not) ? Many thanks in advance Chris

Good idea, but that means that I have to maintain by myself such an attribute and to periodically try again to collect data on every network_id in case of one has been activated between the 2 batchs. From my point of view, this management should not have to be done by the API customer. In fact this "VLAN enabled" data is a "functional data". May be, it could be present into the response to the API end-point : GET /organizations/{organizationId}/networks see https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/#!get-organization-networks

Hello, I am using the end-point : GET /networks/{networkId}/appliance/vlans The doc describing it is there : https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/#!get-network-appliance-vlans I am only using it for MX devices. It responds correctly when the VLANs are enabled,. But in case they are not, I have the following response : "errors": [ "VLANs are not enabled for this network" ] Because I would like to not request anymore on MX devices which don't have the option enable, I would like to have an attribute bringing this information. Hello, Into the API documentation, I didn't find any information about Devices which should have a sim card inserted and which didn’t have. The only documentation I found is : 3G/4G Cellular Failover with USB Modems - Cisco Meraki , status “Ready – Active – Connecting – Failed” for the interface mean there is a SIM card inserted into the MX. “Active” is a synonym of up. Hello, I recently discover that in the following end-point : GET /organizations/ described here : https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/#!get-organizations a new attribute appears : management It is explained : "management : Information about the organization's management system" " |--> details : Details related to organization management, possibly empty" My question are : What is the use case for a MSP ? In other terms, why should I use such kind of data ? Do you have any documentation on this and how to use it ? Many thanks in advance

Hi Tom, Thank you very much for your sharing ! In fact, in 2020 (date of the initial post) the https://api.meraki.com/api/v1/organizations/ response didn't contain any ['licensing']['model'] attribute. Now it is possible and your proposal is elegant ! Thanks ! Christian
