There is no mention of syslog monitoring in 17.8.

Go to your organzation in the dashboard. Then under help -> api docs you will find all enabled endpoints for your organization. There is also a webex bot which will post all updates on the api. There is a topic in the early access forum about that.

You would only be able to request multiple snapshots if you had a waiting queue and then combined all the requests into one. Doable.

I moved the policy objects one at a time to the other org per the existing documentation. Please update the documentation to reflect the method of posting multiple policy objects at once or if this is not possible please let the dev team know this is something that needs to be looked into. Moving 100+ policy objects one at a time is not ideal.

Thank you for your suggestion. I was able to figure out the issue and the code is working. I had to add data=json.dumps(payload) because json.load() strips the double quotations required for json when converting the file to a python dictionary.
