I would also check any patch cables in use as well as the path of cable runs. Ensure none are too close to any fluorescent light ballasts. I had a similar issue with all of the cable runs testing perfect, but a couple of faulty patch cables.  ... View more

Have you checked the event log for this period? It may have been an IDS rules update. ... View more

You would need a MX device in order to perform these blocks. But as DarrenOC has said, it would be a struggle. You would also need the Advanced Security license in order to perform Content Filtering in order to get TikTok blocked. ... View more

Any chance you are using a Meraki switch as a breakout between your ISP and MX? This will grab all IPs seen by the switch. If you need this, you should put the breakout switch in a different network. ... View more

I've had the same issue at some of my sites, although not as bad.  Definitely bring the per-client limit down and disable AMP if you truly don't need it. Also, for IDP/IPS, I've set mine at Prevention/Balanced and this seems to be a sweet spot for the smaller MX devices. I would also look at limiting any L7 FW rules and content filtering if you can. Any load you can remove from the smaller MX will bring the utilization down.  ... View more

I’ve seen this many times as well over the course of 23 years taking certification tests. In this case however, none of the answers had anything to do with the question or exhibit.  ... View more

Well, I took (and passed) this exam yesterday here at Cisco Live. I will say to anyone out there considering taking this exam, know the product.  it doesn’t help either that out of the pool of questions I received, between 10 and 15 were very poorly written. One question didn’t even have any correct answers listed. Some of you may say that I just didn’t know the answer, but if you read the question and look at the exhibit, absolutely nothing matched up.  ... View more

Currently building a new network in SLC, UT (USA). This new building has 2, 10Gb Internet circuits which work fine and are both geo-located to our area. All of the APs on 1 circuit come up fine, but if any APs come up with a public IP on the second circuit, the show the regulatory domain as being in the UK.   I have double checked the location and have confirmed with our provider the reported location for this circuit.   Any thoughts on why this is happening?  ...
