We have several sites that have quit communicating with the Meraki Cloud for Catalyst Monitoring. We have verified that there were no changes to our firewall infrastructure. Is there a way to restart the tunnel service on the switch without rebooting?

I have found it is a bit of a lottery draw on port status when adding Catalyst to Meraki Dashboard. Especially when dealing with Port channels on the 4x10G daughter cards.

It would appear that the Meraki Catalyst monitoring service is having some growing pains again this morning. My OPS team in Europe was having a meltdown as all the Catalyst swtiching in the Americas were showing alert with "No Telemetry" I assured then that we are all still here and that we still have our other monitoring tools available to us to show this is just an instrumentation issue and not an outatge. Has anytone else seen this today?

Still showing offline... I can see telemetry going out over our firewalls without any issue... just not showing up in the dahsboard.

the 9300's acting as a core have not shown issues with 17.9.x in our world either.. but we make it a point to ensure that all hardware in aligned on the same tested and validated version. That was the reasoning behind blacklisting the 17.9.x versions at this time. Better safe than sorry.

As part of our Meraki-Catalyst PoC we have tried everything from 17.3.1 to 17.9.2. Thus far our findings on the 17.9x have been consitant with severe instability on the access layer swtiching. We have not posted internally that 17.9x is not to be used in a production environment. 17.6.3 & 4 has thus far been stable in our environment. We have however hit a snag in the last 24 hours that as we dig deeper as all of our PoC switches have lost coms with the Meraki cloud.

We are doing a PoC on adding the Catalyst 9K switches to our Meraki dashboard. Our new LAN standard is Meraki, but we still have several sites that were the the last to be migrated to the Cisco 9K that still have several years of depreciation before they can be converted. in the last 24 hours all of our switch PoC sites have went offline within the Meraki dashboard. We have checked the swtich logs and they show no issues. CPU and Memory are well within acceptable parameters. Firewall rules have not changed and there are no ISP issues. Has anyone else had this happen?

Personally I prefer to manage everything through a single pane of glass. It affords us to allow the L1 Helpdesk to triage things before they are escalated. It also gives L2&3 a better overall picture of the situation. I would opt for the MR56 in place of the MR36 also.

We are getting ready to deploy a new site and they purchased MS425-32's as their Core switching. Unfortunately, their Fortigate Firewalls are all 1GB copper. We normally use the MS355's as our core, but they have a lot of IDF's and wanted to go without a distribution switch. Has anyone used any of the 1Gb RJ45 SFP's for connectivity to the 425-32?

We have a fiarly large enterprise of Meraki with some legacy Cisco switches. Our current landscape is intermixed with older Cisco products that are being migrate to Meraki and mnore recent Cisco Catalyst 9000 series switches that still have depreciation on the books so they are grandfathered into the new landscape, to be replaced when they are fully depreciated. As we have started to do a PoC on the Cisco Catalyst 9000's we are finding that Port Channels from Core to access layer report incorrectly in the dashboard. We have also found that those switches will often reboot on their own from rougue processes. Has anyone else seen strange behavior on the 9000's. What IOSXE have we collectively found as the most stable when trying to onboard and monitor these devices in the Meraki Dashboard?

We are doing a POC for the Meraki monitoring of Cisco 9000 series switches. We have a stacked pair of C9300's and a stack of 7 C9200's. When adding them into the Meraki Dashboard, only the first switch of easch stack shows up in the dashboard. It is our intentions of shifting all legacy Cisco to Meraki switching, but we would like to have the monitoring solution for the C9000 series to allow operations to keep everything in one tool.
