I still prefer a VPN client solution like Zscaler's ZPA, because it can identify if you're on a trusted network (your local networks in the office) and disable the VPN client automatically.

Since regulatory conditions have recently changed in Canada, I believe Meraki hasn't yet added support for them in the Canadian domain. But I could be wrong.

I don't think so, since the end of EWC's life cycle has been announced. The speed test on my.meraki.com doesn’t measure throughput between your client and the AP or LAN. Instead, it tests connectivity from the AP to Meraki’s cloud servers over the WAN. Are you already running the latest firmware version?
