Thank you for looking but the document says it is only intended for auto-vpn and not for non-meraki peers which is what our vendor has (we believe a fortinet) ... View more

Site-Site VPN tunnels

Hello,    We have a vendor that will be using our site-site so that they can use our Public IP to access whitelisted sites. Is there anyway to make it so traffic coming from that VPN goes to a specific public IP on our MX? Kinda like 1:1 NAT but for a VPN connection.  ... View more

Printers don't autodiscover windows and MAC

We are trying to make it so when trying to add a printer it auto-discovers the printer and they can click it to connect rather than putting in an IP address and finding the correct driver. When trying to do this it shows the shared printers from our domain controller but nothing else. Has anyone ran into this issue before, I even went into L3 and setup the top 2 rules to allow communication between our Printer VLAN and everything else and has not fixed it either. We can connect via IP address and it will work but we are trying to make it so users can add it automatically when roaming from campus to campus. This is the same on both Windows and macOS    ... Disallow access to other device but still access another VLAN

A client of ours wants to setup multiple SSID's for each of their 'teams' and separate them using VLANs and L3 firewall rules. We are trying to talk them out of this and just doing 3 SSID's a guest, private, and a team making those teams connect to the "Team" SSID and making it so none of the devices can communicate with each other. We know you can accomplish this by using the meraki DHCP but they also have a network printer that those devices will also need to connect to on another VLAN. Is it possible to make it so they can communicate to the printer vlan but not to other devices on the "team" vlan?   For example:  I have a laptop on the "Team" SSID using VLAN 2 and need to print to a printer on VLAN 1. However, I should not be able to setup a network share or ping from my laptop to my desktop if both the devices are on the same "Team" SSID.  ... View more

Has anyone successfully installed the MacOS MDM agent on a computer though any kind of RMM software silently (no user interface)? Or is this even possible given apples OS it seems like they really don't want you to do it at all unless you use their MDM. ... View more

That looks promising, but looks like we need beta firmware to do it, do you know if there is any other way to do this until it's come out fully? It won't let me enable the Beta in network wide settings says it's not compatible.      ... View more

MAC whitelisting for an Access Point

Is it possible to setup the mac allow list to have the MAC address for an MR33 but still be allowed to have wireless clients connect to it and get intranet and internet access?    Our main issue here is for it to work correctly it would seem we have to have the port set to trunk and allow all VLAN's that have an SSID tied to it. The access point is plugged into a normal wall jack due to our renters not allowing us to run new cables so we don't want people unplugging it and using something else when the ports are wide open and allowed access to everything.  ... After looking a little harder, I was able to find where to input the subnet for azure so it knows where and what is allowed to pass traffic. I assumed you had to add it into the site-site / Azure IP information but you have to add it into the "remote WAN" section to work. Thank you for the help guys! ... View more

Remote users cannot access a server over Site-to-Site.

Hello everyone,    We have a client that has their main HQ that remote users connect to via client VPN and they also have a site-to-site azure connection to the HQ that has a file server.    The issue here is when a user connects to client VPN they cannot reach the azure file server, I did check and confirmed that the "Client VPN" subnet is allowed to communicate over the site-to-site connection.     I also confirmed that I can ping it from a computer that is on the same network as the HQ Meraki. Anyone have any ideas here?  ... View more

What does Meraki MDM actually require in order to work properly mainly geo tracking and application policies.  ... View more
