Yo will have the same functionality and performance if you nominate 1 sw as the core and then connect other sw to the core sw, also you can daisy chain the switches and you will have good performance as they will run in a 1gig speed between them, you can make some Vlan arrange for the swithces to have a different ip for managment also

a work arround this issue is to unblock the L7 FW rule thats block Gnutella-network but to do this you will have to generate L7 rules for all the P2P categories one by one and do not add the Gnutella-network category when doing this.

It is not the browser, as i have other MX on the network and i can see the connected clients on them, the only difference is that other MX have firmware 16.16 and the MX that have firmware 17.9 are the ones that show this behavior

Yes, SSID is configured and wireless clients connect with no problem, the only issue is that i cannot see them on the device dashboad under "current clients" it always show 0 clients connected,but then if i go to the clients tab i can see them from there (2nd picture)

Hi all Have some MX64 upgraded to 17.9 Firmware, since then i cannot see any wifi connected client on the device dasboard. have tried reboot the MX to see if it gets better, but it still have the issue, no other problems on the wireless devices connected to the lan, it is just i cant see the devices on the dashboard..

ok, so turned off and on after a few minutes, i did both AMP and IDP and all my broke apps started to work again, in my case all the affected apps are in house devs, so this issue may expand further than just MS apps.

It will be better an easier to create a new mgmt vlan and add new siwtches to it,and then move the old switches to the new vlan, this is fairly easy to do and no downtime at all

You need to have the windows update 21Hh2 and 2 optional updates that come after it, then you need to reconfigure tue vpn connection and there you go.... it will connect without any issue...

Same problem here, many of my MX have a secundary link and im not being able to promptly detect when theese goes down, also many times when we add a secundary link is because althought of redundancy there is a need for more bandwwith wich may be not possible over one link.

i think they will add the functionality to allow L7 in the very near future, i agree Nbar is a total mess right now, a lot of Meraki users have been reporting all kinds of L7 blocking

I still have the issue, some work warround i found was to only list Facebook, instagram and twitter, because if i list All the social web & photo sharing category then google drive does not work...

I can do that , but one of the issues is that I need YouTube to be blocked , so if the mx identifies all google traffic as YouTube how to block YouTube only ?

I upgraded Some MX to the latest MX 16.16 firmware and then they started to block Google Drive it seems MX is identifying all traffic as youtube traffic i have added the exception to the whitelist url pattern but it is not working at all Seems new firmware identify google drive as Video & Music wich i have all blocked under L7 policy

You must first run the windows update 10 21H2 then look for the additional KB5010793 and install This must be done on every machine that will use the VPN to connect to the MX Network

I whitelisted the server to wich the remote peers connect to, and then did a firmware upgrade and the remote clients connected with no issues, so i will keep this config for now, i will let know meraki support about this, because i have an open support ticket. Thanks
