When on a public network, I have successfully used a VPN from my iOS devices back to the Meraki MX64 for some time. No complaints. But, if I drop the connection and then rejoin, the VPN does not automatically pop back on. I have to manually engage it. It's too much to remember every time. For example, say i'm in an airport, working, pause, close the iPad / iPhone for a while (WiFi and VPN disconnect) and then return to the device. The WiFi then reconnects immediately, but If I don't remember to restart the VPN, then i'm connected to the internet, but no VPN to protect me. Not good. Is there a solution to this, I'm sure common problem? I'd love the Meraki VPN connection to restart as seamlessly as the WiFi does. Thanks. D.

Don't know if anyone found a resolution, but I've experienced the same thing. A laptop on an Ethernet connection has the yellow triangle. When that termination is disabled and the machine is connected via a Cell Phone, the yellow triangle disappears. Also if the laptop is taken to another facility, (different ISP), then no problem. N.

We have had the same issue. Internet is fine, but Windows reports that it is not. Because of this, Microsoft Office does not function correctly. The only workaround I've found is to skip the Meraki gear and use a ATT cell phone hot-spot. Ugh. That allowed us to at least manage the MS Office account before hopping back to use the usual network. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Can the Meraki-go WAP's be added to a network that has a MX64 at its appliance? How would it get configured? Can everything still be done off he usual web dashboard? Client is looking for a more inexpensive solution than the MR line. thanks

We're up an running. Testing to come. Does anyone know if there is a way to track the data transfer that goes through the cell network? Every night i get a summary report that includes usage, but I'd be interested in a breakout between the usual ISP and the backup Cell?

We are in need of a solution for our ISP occasionally going down. I see there is a cellular solution with a Skyus device on the Meraki list of supported USB modems. Anyone know is this is a current list and that it works? I was thinking about using T-Mobile since we're in an ATT dead spot and Verizon is priced through the roof for our once a month needs.
