Our company was one of the first adopters of the cloud monitoring for Catalyst switches at our main campus inside of the Meraki dashboard. It was a pretty straight forward, easy process to run the Meraki onboarding tool, it would then show you the CLI commands it was going to run and then upload to your switches. We have been able to get rid of other third-party tools and simply use the Meraki Dashboard to get fantastic insights into our Catalyst switches. The process creates an secure encrypted TLS tunnel from your switches into the Meraki dashboard and within minutes you view your active Catalyst switches.
