Welcome @Russ_B . I totally get what you are going through. I left the comm-tower industry about 4 years ago and am now working with Meraki and Dell endpoints. A far cry from Cisco switches and back-haul licensed radios.

First and foremost, I plan to continue the trend of spending more time with my family. While I am at work I will be learning more about Meraki gear and how we can best install them into the new building that is going up to replace the one we are in. (1 story to a 3 story upgrade)

Great tip! I've done something similar with a home-made battery back-pack. It wasn't Meraki, but if you know how many volts and amps you need DC, it can be done.

On a Mission! I work for a Children's Miracle Network Hospital in Helena, Montana. I am one of 2 Help Desk agents and Love my job. I am a long time Cisco user, but am now happy to be working on PCs and helping the end users 1:1 vs. at a CO level.
