I think it would technically work if you use the "push" notificaiton option. This shouldn't need anything extra from the RADIUS client (aka the AP) and the RADIUS server only needs to send an ACCEPT/REJECT. However I can see several caveats. Roaming could be a real pig. Especially if you are between two APs in a fringe area. You may get a lot of push notifications if re-authentication happens. Every time you walk into coverage (such as when you come to work every morning) you'll get a push notification. I think it will be a real pain.

this is silly. if meraki has the data, it must be possible to export/download it. "download as", as it is, is almost useless. should be very simple to implement downloading a filtered timerange.

This is not a great solution. Go to Organization/Overview. Click on the "Devices" tab. Click on the + on the right hand side and add the column "Uplink IP (Port 1)". If the device is "up" and it has no primary IP address then the primary WAN/Internet interface is down. Click on the column name to sort the column. Sort it so that the sites with no primary WAN IP address are at the top. Now you have a quick and easy way to see sites on 3G.
