i can see it in dashboard. red icon. havent checked if i can access the individual AP. AP is attached in the ceiling. will be checking it out in sometime and let you know.

Hello all, its me again. currently i have 2 AP's connected to Meraki switch. 1 works fine but the other doesnt. Error: Unable to find a gateway to the internet. AP is getting all the right ip information but i cant event ping or traceroute the gateway. this is the first time i have plugged 2 ap at the same time. Can you guys please help.

its all sorted. stupidest thing fixed the issue. not really sure how or why its fixed but its fixed. IT 101 reboot the bloody NPS server.

i might have to check the certificate its getting. to my understanding all my settings are correct. going through the certifcate requirement for this. let me see how i go.

Hi Philip, i did check that location but i dont see any files with IN. all i see are multiple subfolders but nothing says as radius server related.

its definitely 1812 and i have confirmed the password with 2 different people its definetly right. i am using my account with and without domain prefix and confirmed the password. my admin account has access to NPS server so i am not sure what else can be wrong. this is is annoying the living daylights out of me.

i am running this on Server 2012. but if its a bad key shouldnt i see it somewhere?? i am using radius only for corp network and the ip's will be forwarded via dhcp from our lan.

setting up Radius Authentication for our corp network. followed the instruction in terms of NPS but when i test the radius server it fails to connect. it doesnt give out any other error. i checked the radius server and i have added the AP and went through event logs but i cant find any failures under security logs. NPS logs doesnt have any record. i am able to ping the radius server from the subnet i am on. any other pointers or location i need to check.

i wish that except for our corp network the guest network to completely bypass our firewall and connect straight to internet. how do i go abouts that. Apologies if you have already answered this and i am not getting it

thanks for the quick reply but i am not sure what you mean by MR or MX. by creating this would it bypass our network completely? even our firewall and proxy? i did read article about that but as i am new to this that kinda went over my head. if this testing goes well we will be replacing our current AP(8) with meraki.

Hi ALl, new to networking and switching side of things. Currently we are trialling MR42 and MS250-24p device. at this point of time i have only configured the Access Point(AP) and created multiple SSID(guest, corporate etcc). when i am on guest network i get the ip assigned by meraki so no issues there but when i hit any illegal sites our firewall comes into play. i say this because web page block comes up on the browser. is this because its currently connected to our switch rather than meraki? what additional functionality does the Meraki switch provides? is there any way to create a completely separate network/tunnel when the guest can access anything and only thing managing it is the meraki firewall rules? is VLAN my only option?
