it doesn't report there user... it reports the machine name but it is in the correct VLAN... I haven't set any explicit rules to block anything, I wasn't;t sure if something was blocked automatically or how to stop it from being blocked...

Thanks for the reply. I've gone through all of these and it still isn't working... it's almost as if the access port is stopping the client machine from being able to talk to the default VLAN... it's my first time trying to get this to work...

Currently deploying a Meraki full stack so that we can have every student and teacher with an iPad. Trying to remove paper if not entirely at least drastically. We're also deploying a new homework and curriculum platform so that everything is submitted electronically. This also includes a digital portfolio of work.

I'm trying to setup wired RADIUS Auth to dynamically assign a VLAN based off of the user (for content filtering). There may be a better way to do this... I've managed to get the machine to authenticate but it won't let the machine access the server from the new VLAN... whenever the user logs in it cannot access the file server on the default infrastructure VLAN (1). I've attached an access port policy from the switch. You'll probably need more info, but I don't know what you need to know... ask away!

Hi, Is there any way to offer social account logins for the guest network? Either via Meraki Go app or via a third party (purple wifi etc)? Also, is it possible to get an NFR for these? Thanks!

Hi Everyone, I'm trying to use OpenDNS on our Meraki network but whenever I change it to OpenDNS on the MX the switch and APs complain about 'misconfigured DNS'. Any ideas?

Hi, does anyone know of a way to be able to schedule device-wide VPN for an iOS client? I'd like to be able to enable a VPN during work hours (say 9am - 6pm) so that all traffic is managed by an MX at HQ. Then allow users to use unfiltered internet 'after hours'. I'm guessing if it's not built into SM it might be possible with API and adding/removing tags... Anyone have any experience with this that can point me in the right direction? Cheers!
