so stupid fix in the meraki Documentation there is a space from com.meraki.sm /.DeviceAdmin  this is incorrect . Remove the Space   adb shell dpm set-device-owner com.meraki.sm/.DeviceAdmin   and you will get this   C:\Users\calcuttin\Downloads\platform-tools_r28.0.1-windows\platform-tools>adb shell dpm set-device-owner com.meraki.sm/.DeviceAdmin Success: Device owner set to package ComponentInfo{com.meraki.sm/com.meraki.sm.DeviceAdmin} Active admin set to component {com.meraki.sm/com.meraki.sm.DeviceAdmin}   if you have an account already on there you will see this error message   C:\Users\calcuttin\Downloads\platform-tools_r28.0.1-windows\platform-tools>adb shell dpm set-device-owner com.meraki.sm/.DeviceAdmin java.lang.IllegalStateException: Not allowed to set the device owner because there are already some accounts on the device         at android.os.Parcel.readException(Parcel.java:1692)         at android.os.Parcel.readException(Parcel.java:1637)         at android.app.admin.IDevicePolicyManager$Stub$Proxy.setDeviceOwner(IDevicePolicyManager.java:4731)         at com.android.commands.dpm.Dpm.runSetDeviceOwner(Dpm.java:148)         at com.android.commands.dpm.Dpm.onRun(Dpm.java:96)         at com.android.internal.os.BaseCommand.run(BaseCommand.java:51)         at com.android.commands.dpm.Dpm.main(Dpm.java:41)         at com.android.internal.os.RuntimeInit.nativeFinishInit(Native Method)         at com.android.internal.os.RuntimeInit.main(RuntimeInit.java:262) ... i Followed this https://documentation.meraki.com/SM/Device_Enrollment/Enabling_Device_Owner_Mode_using_Android_Debug_Bridge_(ADB)   and i cannot get My Lenovo Tab 3/4 Tablets to do the AFW#MERAKI during enrollment. I know someone else had an issue and i have looked on Reddit as well and some people say they have done it and i have a support ticket (which is taking them awhile to get back with me one) Wondering has anyone else had this issue and got it to work   When i followed the directions from the Manual i get this error   C:\Users\calcuttin\Downloads\platform-tools_r28.0.1-windows\platform-tools>adb shell dpm set-device-owner com.meraki.sm/ .DeviceAdmin usage: dpm [subcommand] [options] usage: dpm set-active-admin [ --user | current ] usage: dpm set-device-owner [ --user | current *EXPERIMENTAL* ] [ --name ] usage: dpm set-profile-owner [ --user | current ] [ --name ] usage: dpm remove-active-admin [ --user | current ] [ --name ] dpm set-active-admin: Sets the given component as active admin for an existing user. dpm set-device-owner: Sets the given component as active admin, and its package as device owner. dpm set-profile-owner: Sets the given component as active admin and profile owner for an existing user. dpm remove-active-admin: Disables an active admin, the admin must have declared android:testOnly in the application in its manifest. It will happen down the road, im just thankful its pretty easy to use Meraki gear for ease of management and out of box visibility has helped me out tremendously. but Cisco's new DNA center brings a Meraki ease to Cisco IOS but at a higher cost and subscriptions.   Also Maybe look into the SNMP MIB and that may get you CPU/TEMP info through SNMP. not as nice as it could be in the dashboard but PRTG has an integration   https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/59986-help-monitoring-meraki-network     ... i dont have a MX device used like you do to replicate your issue but i have accomplished the same thing with Radius Authentication using 802.1x for wifi,   i have our guest SSID open and blocked connection to local lan and have the wifi use its own DHCP to handle that   For the Staff wifi i have the 802.1x authentication that looks ad specific AD security groups to authenticate.with the Radius server which is a windows 2012 R2 running the NPS role and IIS role to push the certificate. Also i have a group policy for windows 7 devices for the wifi that automatically inputs the wifi settings. Windows 10 you don't need to do this it just works but windows 7 group policy is highly recommended. https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Encryption_and_Authentication/Configuring_RADIUS_Authentication_with_WPA2-Enterprise   i think this will solve your issue even though it has a bit more steps   ... MR52, i work at the Emergency operations center and i easily had about 110 users at one time on my wifi using 2 separate SSIDs during the hurricane and actually the experience was fine.... well fine until my 6509 shut down the wifi because of a POE fault. and the 52 does take port channel and 2 ports but my 6509 did not act nicely with the AP. Yes, I can see it in the certificate list under the 802.1x settings on the properties of the WiFi but I have tried it both, with and with out server validation and no luck. I have just installed a radius/NPS server and applied the configurations to the SSID i wanted to test it on. It worked great for Windows 10 laptops, android and apple phones Windows 7 keeps saying there is an authentication issue. i followed the directions with this document https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Encryption_and_Authentication/Enabling_WPA2-Enterprise_in_Windows_Vista_and_Windows_7 and still no joy entering in my credentials.
