Can anyone tell me if switch configurations are backed up? More importantly, if I replace a switch, will the configuration automatically be downloaded as long as I use the same LAN ip of the replaced switch. Thanks.......Neal Huhn

Hi MRCUR, I have 3 LAN connections going from my MX100 to a Cisco 6807-xl Core switch. My problem is I only have 1 of them up and active. Every time I bring up either of the 2 remaining with my 1 primary connection still up I start getting 'route connection change' events and the MX100 disconnects the routes. Note that neither the MX100 or the Core ports go down. This is a brand new MX100 so it's not a hardware issue. Any thoughts on what's causing this and how I can correct it? Thanks! Neal Huhn

Does an MX100 store routing information aside from the routes that are defined in it? If so, can they be cleared out?

We have several VRF's in our Core switch. the 3 connections are simply there to connect to 3 of our VRF's. What I don't get is that these are static routes so why would the MX100 think that there is a route connection change?

The core is a Cisco C6807-XL When I leave the interfaces up, all that happens is one disconnects and another connects. Note that this is internal to the MX100. The interfaces never go down on the core or the MX100

I have 3 LAN interfaces from the MX100 to our core switch. Any of the 3 interfaces work fine as long as the other 2 interfaces are shutdown from the core. If a second interface is brought up, both interfaces get 'route connection change' errors which brings down the routes associated with them and the MX100 shows them as disconnected. Note that both the Core and the Meraki interface never go down. Then 1 of the interfaces shows connected and the other remains disconnected. This process go back and forth between the 2 interfaces. Could someone please tell me how to correct this problem. A Meraki tech did a trace on the phone calls and said the 4 digit dial only showed the 1st digit of the number. Of course he referred me to Cisco TAC to have the phone system checked. If the phone system wasn't working properly we would have a lot more that this to worry about. Has to be an issue with Meraki.

Yes all the VOIP vlans are in the VPN list and the connectivity from end to end is good. The phone registers fine but just has no video and no ability to 4 digit extension dial.

I am installing a Site To Site VPN Tunnel using MX100,MX84 and MS250's. Everything is working perfectly except the Cisco VOIP Phones. Not getting any audio on 4 digit extension calls where the full number has audio and no video at all. Does anyone have a clue as to what I can do to fix this? QOS configured and Vlan is not shared anywhere else. I am passing the Voice Vlan through the tunnel.....Could that be screwing things up? Thanks.......Neal Huhn

Hi Meraki Guru!
I've been getting route connection changes on an MX84 that is tied to an MX100 over a Site to Site VPN Tunnel.
As soon as the route connection change hits, the tunnel goes down and I usually end up rebooting the MX84.
Once I do that, the tunnel comes back up. Since the ISP's equipment is tied into the MX84, would it be a valid
assumption that there is something going on with the connection to the ISP causing the route changes?
