We have over 80 sites in the UK with Meraki WIFI. These sites have Guest WIFI and some residents in the rooms want to connect their Alexa to Smart TV etc. The guest WifI is on a Meraki DHCP. Has anybody have any idea how this can be achieved?

Adam - I use a standard switch connected to the MX65 so cannot block every port WANKiller - I realise I can use 802.1x, but didnt want to goto the expense or hassle of implementing 802.1x On previous firewall I have used you can just authorise MAC addresses

We are using MX65 at sites which give out a DHCP address which allows lan connections to get to the internet via the MX65 Is there anyway I can block all connections except the ones I authorise without using 802.1x? I want to stop users just plugging in pc/printers into the MX65.

I want to stop anybody connecting a network cable into our network and getting internet access, preferably an IP address as well. We we have the usual printers, pc etc on our network and would allow these devices, but somebody comes in with a laptop I do not want them to get internet access. Thanks

Sorry not sure why it put that title on the issue, not sure how to change this. (UPDATE: Title edited by community manager!) yes, I am talking about a wireless device going offline such as a wireless printer. We get alerts if the AP goes down.

Is there any way that you can see if a wireless device goes offline. It looks like you can alert if a LAN connection goes offline, not a wireless device.
Is there anyway of doing this?
