I appreciate this topic dates from last November. We've just run into problems with a server that sends outbound SMTP. Security Centre in the meraki Portal reports blocking traffic it sees as matching SMTP_COMMAND_OVERFLOW rule ID 241-1. We whitelisted the rule and the email trafic flowed outboud OK thereafter. I think you're right. I believe the setup creates a 1:1 relationship between the MX and the Azure application. This makes me want to limit the number of possible connection points for a whole other reason now... ... View more
