@BlakeRichardson yes it is a huge improvement. But still have the delay with it. I know Meraki will eventually get it working without the latency on the live camera view but we needed a zero latency solution. ill post the full workup i did to resolve my issue below.

@PhilipDAth I Apologize for the late response on this. So i was trying to setup a live view on the local subnet for camera viewing. The overall issues is there is a 10 second delay when viewing cameras. Its so odd. But i ended up solving with a RTSP stream from each camera to a web server and i get zero to no latency now what so ever. But even the Meraki Vision Portal has latency on live camera feeds.

Hello Everyone, I've come across many threads about some issues to view footage live from the MV series. I myself have looked into many viewers because the cloud view option locks up sometimes in browser. I've looked at the following options... -Local vlan with linux/windows viewing footage on the same V-Lan -Cross V-lan with Linux/Windows viewing footage. -RTSP Viewers open source Linux/Windows -IP Cam viewing software (Generic Software) -Meraki Vision Portal -Meraki Video Wall -VLC with Mosaic view Linux/Windows -Chrome/Firefox/Safari/Edge/Chromium And many combinations in between. Just curious, Do you have the MV12 or the MV12WE? I think i've actually figure out what the cause might be. Ill work on getting pictures of my camera to explain.

I hope you have the same results as i did. Support is keeping my ticket open to track any potential bugs, so if i see any i'll post back here. Keep an eye on the firmware notes as some will not allow you to roll back assuming you are on the low 3.0's. Let me know how yours pan out! -Jonathon

Just in case you are having the Audio issues still. MV Firmware 4.5 Corrected the audio issues from 4.0 and below. Support stated that they would continue to monitor my case and for me to view for audio issues on any new footage. Just in case, upgrade yours to 4.5 and it should resolve your audio issues. -Jonathon

I also have this issue with our MV12, MV32 and MV72's. I'm not sure what the deal is but when you power cycle them the audio issue will go away for a few weeks and randomly return. And it's not cabling or firmware issues either. I have spoken with support about it and sometimes you get "upgrade the firmware" and sometimes it's a no go on a resolution. All in all, recorded Audio and video is the same so it's not just a live playback issue. I honestly think its a camera microphone quality control issue. Unless they are able to correct them with firmware im not sure what to do.

No i totally agree. But like i said is anything available. Meraki has been a huge help in simplifying our organizations network management, it's only fitting to ask. Maybe something could be on the horizon or some suggestions for Best Practices i might not be aware of.

With the release of Apples IOS 14.0, we are going to have some massive issues with blacklisting clients and ensuring devices stay connected on MAC address authenticated networks. Just to clarify, i'm not going to establish the Auto VPN across the MPLS Circuits. This would strictly be to use the available bandwidth for some server traffic to replicate across separately. Think more along the lines of DR Replication but not to interfere with day to day usage by clients. **Lan of MX-A to Lan of MX-B** Thanks!

Yes. They all have 200/200 DIA with 200/200 DIA Redundant providers. (Represented buy the meraki cloud in the middle) sorry if that was not clear. I'll give that a shot. Hello Everyone! So i've been looking over some documentation on MPLS integration with Meraki. To clarify, i am not trying to establish the Auto VPN over our MPLS circuits. What i want to do is be able to dedicate these circuits to send some prioritized traffic between three main sites for server replication. I have these MPLS circuits as part of a contract for another year or two so i'd like to see some use out of them. So going by Meraki Documentation, it looks like i need to have a dedicated router at the end of each MPLS circuit to resemble something like this. https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Networks_and_Routing/Integrating_an_MPLS_Connection_on_the_MX_LAN Is it possible to route the MPLS circuits directly from Site A,B,C without having to use the second router at each site? I'd like to minimize the amount of equipment i have and attempt to use 100% meraki for this project. Below is my ideal setup if possible. Let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks!
