we have 2 cables connected crossed but all the 4 ports are disconnected. cables are cisco original (MA-CBL-40G-1M) unfortunately we do not have other other QSFP+ DAC cables or socket. we'll try to connect the cables one by one and see if it change.

Do the stacking ports come up green? no What I do is: Configure stack in dashboard (both switched should be powered off?) Connect one switch to internet Wait until firmware upgrades and switch settles (give 30 minute) Connect stacking cables and one front port between switches 1 and 2 (with one switch powered and the other powered off?) Power up switch 2 Wait until firmware upgrades, stack forms, STP disables front panel link Repeat until all stack members are up.

we bought 2xms210 with 2x 40gb stacking cable and follow the guide to configure a physical stack https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/Stacking/Switch_Stacks both switches have been connected to meraki cloud with one uplink each and the latest firmware MS 14.32 has been installed. after powering down we connect both cable as explained (crossed) with only one uplink on one member. unfortunately after the boot the stack interfaces are still down and there no potential stacking detected to create the stack, we try to create it manually but did not work. we had to connect again the uplink on the other member and remove the stack configuration. any suggestions? thanks

We have several MX that route different internal networks. We bought the advanced security license in order to configure the content filtering and threat prevention settings. Our goal is to have internal networks with different security setting based on the source ip address but in meraki it seems that is only possilble to apply the setting globally. how can we reach our goal? thank you.
