Granite Edgeboot is designed to have your ISP gears power plugged into it so that the carrier gear can be rebooted. Then an ethernet connection into that ISP so it can monitor the status. I suppose it could also work with your MX but it's gear agnostic, the gear just needs to have its power into the edgeboot and then the lan connection into something that gets internet solely from the device you want to reboot so that it can sense if that internet goes offline.
