SD-WAN is like smartphone GPS for your network. Old networks still pass traffic like travelers in the Wild West, going from town to town (hops), asking for directions to their destination. Maps made it easier to find a place or route that you or someone else had already been to, but reading a map and figuring out the path at 80 MPH slows you down. SD-WAN takes all the great capabilities of your automated GPS, like warning you if the path you're are on will slow you down due to traffic, re-route you around an accident, or allow you to set preferences like avoiding tolls; and puts them into your network so you traffic becomes smarter and avoids latency, paths that are overloaded or broken, or preferences like sending kitten videos over a cheap circuit. This allows you to make your network smarter, more efficient, and able to correct issues before they potentially become larger problems. ... View more

Unless you create an interface on the MX, with an IP on that vlan, I don't believe that would work. You would really need a vlan capable switch to split the two vlan's. ... View more

You would need to connect the handoff from your ISP into a switch, then, you can switch the voice VLAN and create an access port for the WAN, then connect your MX internet port to that. The MX will allow a VLAN for the WAN interface, but will not pass a second VLAN through it.  ... View more

This has become a problem for our customers that use the client VPN and have T-Mobile iOS devices. Since T-Mobile has moved to IPv6 only, and the iPhone's lack of CLAT support, the VPN client doesn't work. ... View more

In theory that would work. Typically when we order them, they come with a new SIM already installed.  ... View more

Also, they are full USB powered, so no additional power cords. We use 15' USB cords so that we can mount the modem out of the rack and on the wall, then you still have 10-15' of antenna cable depending on what antennas you order. They also make outdoor antenna's you can use if signal is week. With good signal, you can get 40MB downloads on Verizon. Signal strength is visible in the dashboard. Here is a link to it, they have a new DS Series that works even better: https://feeneywireless.com/product/skyus/ ... View more

I would recommend the Skyus Modems, as they are AWESOME, and fully compatible. They also are compatible long term as new versions come out, with no support issues. ... View more
